Job Summary The Operating Room Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who provides leadership and coordination in the operating room (OR) environment.
They are responsible for ensuring that the OR runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining patient safety and optimal outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities

- In collaboration with the Leadership team and Chief of Anesthesia, plan and manage the daily operations of the operating room, including scheduling surgeries, staffing, and ensuring that equipment and supplies are available.
- Oversee and monitor the outcomes of coordinated and comprehensive patient care delivery within the operative department.
- Collaborating with surgeon leaders and anesthesia, drive efficiency targets related to on-time starts, turnaround time and OR utilization.
- Responsible for leading and managing the OR staff with input from the Leadership team, including nurses, surgical technologists, and sterile processing technicians.
This includes making decisions related to hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
