Assistant Director -Workforce Development

Location : Kentucky Career Center – Maysville
Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m., Monday-Friday
Salary Range : $52,000.00 – $62,000.00
This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to plan for task completion. The Assistant Director must be able to work with limited supervision and make decisions based on policy and Workforce Regulations. Communication skills, written and verbal, must be excellent. This position also requires data research and data entry with a focus on detail and accuracy. Travel within and outside of the ten-county workforce area will be necessary.
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Oversight of local, state and / or federal grants
- Obligate funds to specific grants
- Assist with presentations on budgets, expenditures and obligations
- Financial monitoring of contracts
- Review and submit contract invoicing for payment

Educational Level :
A graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor or Associate Degree or higher in Business Administration or closely related field is required. Experience in Management, Leadership and Workforce Development is preferred.
