Quality Control Specialist
TENCO Workforce Development Board
Location : Kentucky Career Center – Maysville
Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m., Monday-Friday
Salary Range : $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
The Quality Control Specialist position requires a person to have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills are necessary. This position is very detail oriented and requires knowledge in multiple computer systems. Excellent communication skills are necessary.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Maintain internal data spreadsheet which includes performance calculations for each customer.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and report impact on the workforce system within TENCO.
- Assist with negotiations of performance measures for the TENCO Workforce Development Board (WDB).
- Participate in the Accountability Committee meetings of the TENCO WDB.
- Analyze TENCO performance reports as presented by the Career Development Office.
- Ensure case management / data system records and files are in compliance with Federal, State, and local policies / guidance.
- Train staff and contract staff on performance, policy, procedures, and the case management / data system.
- Review eligibility documents for Adult / Dislocated Workers / Youth for compliance and completeness.
- Participate on State committees and work groups designated for A / DW / Y eligibility criteria.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and contract staff on programmatic and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain forms necessary to assist staff to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements.
- Conduct internal quarterly monitoring of files to ensure all policies, guidance, and the Law has been followed.
- Conduct, at a minimum, annual programmatic monitoring of current contracts.
- Conduct validation of files for customers exited from the program.
- Analyze equal opportunity data collected from participants and submit a report with any issues noted.
- Maintain the Central Records Unit for all files.
- Serve as TRADE Program Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Level :
A graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate Degree or higher in Business Administration or closely related field is required. Experience in utilizing a data management system is preferred.
