Ambulatory Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for passengers safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of various driving environments, including route driving, shuttle driving, and commercial vehicle operation. The Driver will ensure compliance with all safety regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles, including sedans and wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Execute route driving and shuttle driving tasks as assigned, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up.
• Assist passengers (and their equipment) into and out of vehicle as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with passengers or clients.

Experience

• Previous experience in driving roles such as shuttle driving, route driving, or bus driving is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles on both urban and rural roads is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare field is a strong plus!
• A valid driver’s license (5 years) with a clean driving record is required.
• Military experience related to vehicle operation is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
