ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create company literature and other forms of communication
- Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
- Work with advertisers for timely and usable ad submissions
- Copy edit, proofread, and revise communications
- Design and launch email marketing campaigns
- Plan and deliver education courses and materials
- Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
- Develop marketing communications campaigns
- Create thought leadership materials
- Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals
- Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references
- Research media coverage and industry trends
- Develop fresh story ideas
- Conduct extensive media outreach
- Prepare briefing materials
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics
- Coordinate conference, trade shows, and press interviews
- Manage information
- Prepare agendas and conduct research
QUALIFICATIONS
- Regardless of license/certification or experience, must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills. Ability to type 30 wpm. Proficient with Word, Outlook, and Electronic Health Record software
- To meet programming needs, must be willing to submit to flexible schedules and duty assignments. If in personal recovery, demonstrates commitment to own recovery (one to two years of continuous sobriety is desired)
- Pass a Background Screening and Drug Test, required
- Keeps a current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, preferred
- Higher Learning Diploma / Degree, preferred but not required
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
