  • This is an on-site position reporting to our Buford, GA facility

Technical Writer / Training

The Engineering department requires a Technical Writer who has experience in creating technical documentation in a Regulated Manufacturing environment. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating / updating various documents ranging from Operating Manuals to Training material. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of experience working in a Manufacturing / Service environment and be able to work independently with minimum supervision while maintaining a well-organized work environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit Operational procedures, Operator Manual, Work Instructions, Technical manuals and training aids.
  • Write, format, and organize information in a succinct and visually appealing way.
  • Prioritize Workload based on needs and requirements.
  • Ensure documents are easy to understand using text and images.
  • Process Improvement - Review and improve the current process to enable quicker turn-around and delivery to where the information is needed.
  • Ensure all documents are approved correctly and training set up (if required).

    Education :

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

    • Qualifications :

  • Experienced in electronic / mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable using common hand tools and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledgeable in Document Revision Controls.
