We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This is a seasonal position with the season typically ending in end of September-October. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and eliminating pest problems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. The Pest Control Technician will utilize various tools and equipment provided by the company to ensure effective pest management while maintaining safety standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
- Apply pest control products and techniques safely and effectively, adhering to all regulations and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up actions.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to scheduled appointments.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex pest issues as necessary.
- Ability to obtain a pesticide license (training and materials will be provided by the company)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Move and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
