Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. Your primary focus will be on building current relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a proven track record in both inside and outside sales environments. The ideal candidate will reside in the state of California.
A vehicle, laptop, travel expenses and cell phone are provided. Compensation is base plus commission structure.
Territory: California, Utah, Arkansas, Nevada.
Pay is $84k base plus commission.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory goals and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and enhance brand visibility in the territory.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
- Provide feedback on market conditions, competition, and product performance to assist in business development efforts.
Skills
- Post-secondary education is preferred
- Proven experience in sales of Agricultural Equipment
- Good understanding of the agricultural industry’s Dealer Network
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in B2B sales with a focus on territory management.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that resonate with potential customers.
- Familiarity with software solutions that support sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
