Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base within a designated territory. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a proven track record in both inside and outside sales environments.
A vehicle, laptop, travel expenses and cell phone are provided. Compensation is base plus commission structure.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory goals and objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and enhance brand visibility in the territory.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
- Provide feedback on market conditions, competition, and product performance to assist in business development efforts.
Skills
- Post secondary education is preferred
- Proven experience in sales of Agricultural Equipment
- Good understanding of the agricultural industries Dealer Network
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in B2B sales with a focus on territory management.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that resonate with potential customers.
- Familiarity with software solutions that support sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
