Our dealership is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our service team. As a critical component of our operation, the Diesel Technician plays an indispensable role in ensuring the smooth running of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Explain vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors.
- Keep current with new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed to Win:
- 2 years of prior diesel diagnostic and repair experience required.
- GM , Ford, or Chevy certifications/training required.
- Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record

Requirements
We would like to see at least 2 previous years' experience on Diesel diagnostics and repair. GM trained is a plus as well.
Salary : $25 - $50
