We are looking for a Behavior Technician to join our team and provide individualized behavioral interventions to teens with mental health and co-occurring disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and providing feedback to the treatment team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with teens, possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to think quickly and creatively in order to provide the best possible care. The primary role of the Behavioral Health Technician is in providing direct and support services to female or male clients suffering from mental illness or a co-occurring disorder. Specifically, the two main functions of the Behavioral Heatlh Technician are 1) supervision of the clients and 2) ensuring their participation in treatment related services and facilitating psycho-educational, activities of daily living and attending community support and recreational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior plans for clients.
- Monitor client progress and document data.
- Provide feedback to clients and the treatment team.
- Implement individualized behavior plans.
- Provide positive reinforcement to clients.
- Collaborate with other professionals on the team.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
