Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review client files before meetings
- Draft, review, and send Representation Letters
- Lead introductory client meetings to explain office processes and next steps
- Conduct signing meetings to notarize estate planning documents
- Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients
- Review estate planning documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the team with ideas for process improvements
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
- Paralegal experience with a focus on estate planning
- Strong interpersonal skills—ability to connect with clients and provide emotional support, especially during sensitive situations
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with the ability to track tasks and follow up proactively
- A proactive team player who contributes ideas for improving processes and workflows
- Comfortable acting as a Notary (or willing to become one)
