Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and motivated Processor and Warehouse Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This role oversees our plastic injection manufacturing production process of the components that go into our finished Insulated Concrete Forms. The processor will produce these parts and prepare them for shipment to other manufacturing production sites. This job also includes supervising a small 10,000 sqft warehouse and the logistics associated with inventory management and shipping of products.

Key responsibilities include:

· Prepare machine for daily production

· Unload and package parts coming off production line

· Process parts for quality control

· Adjust and modify parameters on plastic process as needed to maintain quality control and efficient production

· Load and unload materials on trucks for shipments and deliveries

· Drive a forklift

· Document and track inventory

· Report production, inventory, and product shipments to the BuildBlock operations team daily

· Oversee warehouse layout and inventory flow on a FIFO basis

· Conduct machine maintenance, and coordinate repairs and replacement parts as needed

· Prepare production line and warehouse for additional shifts and other employees

· Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery

· Manage parts spare parts and equipment inventory

· Advise operations on restocking raw materials and material purchasing

Other duties include, but are not limited to:

· General warehouse cleaning, and building upkeep

· Collaborate effectively with colleagues and foster a positive team dynamic to achieve shared goals

· Frequent and accurate reporting to the Operations Manager

Experience:

· 2 years of relevant work experience

· Plastic Injection experience highly recommended

· Must be mechanically inclined and willing to conduct minor repairs on equipment.

· Must have a desire to learn and understand the manufacturing process and diagnose problems as they arise

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs

Requirements:

· Must be able to lift items up to 80 lbs

· Must be able to climb ladders

· Must be able to lift objects above head

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to stoop, crouch and bend

· Must be able to work in a warm and cold environment

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Trade school experience will be considered a benefit

· Forklift Certification or willingness to take a certification class

Important personal attributes include:

· Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Self-motivated, punctual, and highly reliable

· Ability to work alone and often unsupervised

· Mechanically incline and able to problem solve and fix equipment and machinery.

We offer a starting salary of $40,000-$50,000 per year depending on experience. Compensation also includes a benefit package (paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, health insurance & 401(k)). This position will have future growth opportunities as the company continues to scale its manufacturing business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
