Description
The Driver's Helper works in the field assisting the Driver in delivering cabinets to each job, ensuring products are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Key Targets and Responsibilities
- Present valid state driver's license
- Consistently dress in line with company clothing requirements
- Excellent external and internal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be focused, confident and observant
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work in changing weather conditions
- The capacity to carry out company obligations in an expert manner
- Knowledge of GPS devise usage - At times a helper may need to navigate for a driver
- Knowledge of reading a map if required
- Ability to work on a set and / or changing schedule to meet company requirements
- Ability to work weekends if needed
- Follow Routes and time schedules
- Physically capable of lifting boxes up to 75 pounds
- Transport boxes using dollies and pallet jacks
- Work with driver to insure accurate loading and unloading of customer product
- Assist driver with all task with the exception off driving
- Report all issues with a delivery or deadline problems to a supervisor in a timely manner
- Be punctual to facilitate on-time deliveries
