Description:
Builder’s Choice, Inc., is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist/Manager to lead and support a wide range of HR functions. This is a hands-on role suited for a well-rounded HR professional who is comfortable managing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration

Manage employee health, dental, vision, retirement, and FSA plans.

Oversee annual plan renewals and open enrollment.
- Administer and educate employees on 401(k) benefits.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Maintain and update company policies, employee handbook, and ACA tracking/reporting.
- Handle unemployment claims and manage worker’s compensation processes.
Recruiting & Onboarding

Collaborate with department leaders to address staffing needs.

Lead full-cycle recruiting including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Manage HRIS records and onboarding for both employees and 1099 subcontractors.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Support employee relations including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Drive retention efforts and engagement programs including recognition, team-building, and communication.
- Manage quarterly employee check-ins, bonus programs, and the employee newsletter.
Training & Development

Oversee quarterly performance reviews and development planning.

Facilitate training on Microsoft 365, customer service, safety, and leadership skills.
- Coordinate cross-training and career development opportunities across departments.
Safety & Wellness

Lead safety initiatives including the Fleet Safety Program.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance across the organization.
Payroll & Vendor Management

Process payroll and liaise with vendors.
- Support insurance claims and annual policy renewals (medical, property, auto, etc.).
HR Metrics & Reporting

Maintain and report on key HR metrics including headcount, overtime, safety, PTO, and ACA eligibility.

Manage annual compensation reviews, MVRs, and bonus calculations.
