As a Construction Financing Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Gathering documentation and performing data entry tasks.
- Managing loan maturity dates, processing extensions, and modifying servicing portfolios as needed.
- Reviewing account histories, coordinating with borrowers, and collecting payments on past-due accounts.
- Flagging exceptions and reporting borrower concerns to the asset management team.
- Providing top-notch servicing to borrowers, communicating regularly and proactively coaching them on draw request submission tools.
- Obtaining third-party services as needed and communicating with loan officers and borrowers via telephone and email.
- Ordering and reviewing inspection reports, clearing post-funding conditions, and ensuring timely funding and a smooth process.
Requirements
- Three to five years of construction draw experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs in Excel are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial information to colleagues and management.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting work.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and resolve discrepancies effectively.
