Purpose
The Assembly Technician performs repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by executing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Positions parts in specified relationships.
- Secures parts together using bolts, clips, screws, or cement.
- Removes defective products as needed.
- Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line.
- Adapts to changing workstations as production demands require.
- Works in an environment where tasks change with varying product models.
- Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements

- Up to six months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior carpentry experience.
