About the Role
This Management Trainee position will focus on developing operational knowledge and skills through on-the-job training, rotations, and mentorship. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain a comprehensive understanding of our business operations, including yard operations, millwork, production, dispatch/scheduling/delivery, safety, sales, finance, and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadows assigned employees/management to learn and perform assigned duties
- Receives training and performs duties in all operational areas
- Participates in the development of operating budgets and capital expenditure recommendations
- Completes assigned training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong customer service skills, mathematical aptitude, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and computer aptitude
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $ 65,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
Work Environment
This role involves working in both office and outdoor settings, with occasional travel to customer locations. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally, as well as perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling. The noise level is usually moderate.
