Job Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative I to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our retail customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to retail customers via phone, email, or in-person.
- Sell company products and services, including material estimates and quotes for small packages.
- Enter orders into our system and schedule delivery of products.
- Plan and pace work efficiently to meet daily, weekly, or project-related productivity goals.
- Participate in coordinating and conducting customer workshops.
- Handle and resolve simple customer complaints, forwarding complex issues to senior staff for resolution.
- Assist with store housekeeping, signage, stocking, inventory control, and other related activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six (6) months sales-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of company products, competitor's products, and company standards.
- Knowledge of company product pricing, discount, and estimating formulas and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates strong detail orientation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program.
