About the Role
At Builders FirstSource, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our location team in achieving maximum sales and profits with available resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the location, including sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns.
- Recruit, hire, and train employees, as well as create and enforce staffing measures to reduce employee turnover and increase company profits.
- Motivate employees, maintain a productive workforce, and train successor management.
- Approve wage and salary increases and establish objectives and performance measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; four years related managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in the building materials industry is required.

What We Offer
