The Opportunity
Leverage your industry expertise and join our expanding team in this Premium Audit Service Representative opportunity. Premium Audit Service Representative is responsible for scheduling, documenting, and confirming adequate information received for the process of virtual audits to either process as confirmed non-complaint or assign to the appropriate virtual auditor. This position will require the individual to communicate with external and internal customers regarding concerns arising from the virtual audit scheduling process. The PASR works with minimal supervision on routine virtual audits and may refer higher level accounts to management or Sr. Representatives for assistance.
The success of our company is rooted in teamwork, the way we care about the people we work with and serve. This hybrid role will work in our Raleigh office a minimum of two days with the flexibility of working from home three days a week.
Your WORK as a Premium Audit Service Representative will make a difference as you:
- Review virtual audit information and requests from company systems and utilize that information to contact outside customers (insured and/or agents) in an attempt to schedule virtual audits.
- Schedule Virtual Audit: review uploaded, emailed, and mailed information from insured to determine correct and complete information which includes federal and state payroll reports, financial statements, and other payroll and sales reporting documents.
- Review dispute information received from agents or insureds who contest an audit billing, communicate with all involved, and assign to the correct virtual auditor or virtual audit manager for final decision.
- Thoroughly document audit communications and process steps within premium audit software and Builders Mutual databases as requested.
- Summarize and provide feedback to underwriters and agents outlining audit results obtained from interim or mid-term audits.
- Work collaboratively with all interdepartmental personnel.
- Provide support to the premium audit virtual staff as needed.
- Work on special projects and assignments as required, in addition to regularly scheduled work.
- Share information and experiences with less experienced representatives.
SKILLS to get the JOB done RIGHT:
- High school diploma and 1-3 years general business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred
- Solid computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid verbal and written skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
