About the Role
The Wall Panel Service Technician is responsible for:
·        providing service and support during site visits,
·        managing assigned workflow with the production schedule,
·        identifying errors in design or installation and determining proper solutions,
·        producing timely and detailed field service reports,
·        inspecting and operating company vehicles in a safe manner,
·        maintaining tools (saws, pneumatic nail guns, etc.),
·        following all company procedures and protocols,
·        supervising your assistant when needed,
·        building good working relationships with customers and team members,
·        and the ability to read and understand diagrams/ blueprints.

Day-to-day responsibilities
Service wall panels and truss issues in the field
Manually unload/ load materials on/off trucks
Communicate with department and customers regarding availability, issues, and scheduling
Meet with framers and contractors
Measuring foundations
Complete work for service calls

Skills Required
Must be a self-starter and have attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Must be able to lift >50 lbs without assistance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of blue prints and building layouts
Knowledge of building materials/ products
Ability to work outside year round
