What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator - Full-time- 2nd Shift position at Builders?
Spelts-Schultz Countertops, a division of Builders, is GROWING and seeking a CNC Operator for a second shift. Position is responsible for utilizing computerized equipment to fabricate various stone countertops.
Hours: 2nd Shift
2pm – 10:30pm
Some key duties include:
- Meeting daily with Production Supervisor to receive work orders and determine production timelines to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Review work orders for completion and accuracy prior to start of fabrication; address any issues to the Production Supervisor or Assistant Division Manager.
- Daily fabrication of countertops; programs measurements into the computer system or hand measures/fabricates countertops pending type of countertop to include all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes) plus radiuses in the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
Prior carpentry experience is helpful but not required.
