Job Title: Account Manager
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

The job:
The Account Manager (AM) plays a critical role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of Buildertrends customers. One of the key responsibilities is to establish strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and aligning the companys core platform and services to meet those requirements. AMs act as advocates for our customers within the organization, serving as a bridge between the customer and various departments such as sales, marketing, and product development. You work proactively to identify potential issues, address concerns, and provide solutions that enhance the overall customer experience. Through effective communication and a deep understanding of the customers goals, the Account Manager aims to drive customer loyalty, prevent churn, drive revenue, and contribute to the long-term success of both the customer and Buildertrend.
In addition to relationship building, the Account Manager will collaborate with customers to help them maximize the value derived from Buildertrends core platform and service offerings. This involves providing guidance on best practices offering discovery calls, training sessions, strategic business reviews and ensuring that customers have the necessary resources to achieve their desired outcomes. AMs will analyze customer usage data, health scores, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement or upselling additional features or cross selling services that align with the customers evolving needs, Ultimately, the role of an Account Manager is multifaceted, encompassing elements of customer service, account management, training, and strategic consulting to create a positive and mutually beneficial partnership between Buildertrend and its customers.
What you will do:
- Conduct Discovery calls and Onboard new customers into the Buildertrend platform through training sessions, digital resources, and live webinars.
- Collaborate with clients to develop a comprehensive understand of their business objectives and how Buildertrends solutions can support them.
- Develop a deep understanding of Buildertrends products and services to provide expert guidance and support to clients,
- Proactively educate clients on new features and updates that align with their business needs.
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct quarterly strategic business reviews to monitor & enable the success of your clients.
- Develop & execute strategic account plans that align with the customer's goals and objectives.
- Use data drive insights to identify trends, anticipate customer needs and recommend improvements.
- Drive results across multiple KPIs. Customer retention is a top priority.
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell of products and services to drive revenue.
- Monitor and analyze account performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Proactively identify issues that may impact a renewal and engage all available resources to resolve said issues.
- Track and record all customer interactions and future engagement plans within Buildertrends tooling
- Work effectively out of Salesforce/Gainsight & any other CS tool.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any escalations or issues.
- Champion the businesses strategic change through the Customer Success Department
Who you are and what you need:

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Extensive experience in account management, with a proven track record of success in managing and coaching accounts.
- Strong leadership skills and experience working with teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Gainsight, and additonal tooling in the Customer Success tech stack.
- Minimum one years experience in Customer Success and Account Manger experience.
- Must be based in the Omaha area.
- Deep understanding of the construction industry and its unique challenges.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels of the organization.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to think strategically and analyze complex data to make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to customer needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive growth and resolve customer issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of industry best-practices in relation to high-touch onboarding and implementation strategies
