Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team .
Responsibilities
- Manage CRM System: Oversee the use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track sales activities, monitor customer interactions, and ensure accurate reporting. Ensure that the team updates and utilizes the CRM to its full potential for better pipeline management and forecasting.
- Conduct Project Tracking: Track the progress of sales projects from initiation to completion. Ensure that all milestones and deadlines are met, coordinating with internal teams and clients to address any issues or adjustments needed along the way.
- Segment Accounts (A, B, and C): Segment accounts into A, B, and C categories based on their potential value and sales opportunity. Prioritize A accounts (high-value, strategic), B accounts (moderate potential), and C accounts (low-value or low-priority), allocating resources and team efforts accordingly.
- Drive Team to Meet Sales Goals: Motivate and lead the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. Set clear expectations and provide the necessary support and resources to help the team hit their sales goals, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Vendor Conference Calls: Take part in vendor conference calls to discuss product updates, opportunities, and challenges. Represent the sales team and ensure that vendor relationships are well-managed, fostering strong collaboration and communication.
- Report Back to Vendors: Act as a liaison between the sales team and vendors, reporting on sales progress, customer feedback, and market conditions. Provide updates and insights to vendors, ensuring alignment between their products and the sales team’s efforts.
- Support Accountability Across the Team: Foster a culture of accountability within the sales team. Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. Address any performance gaps and support individual team members in reaching their potential through coaching and mentoring.

- Documented success in sales management in a business in the building material/construction chemical industry
