Reefer Madness Dispensary is seeking a full-time Budtender to join our team at our 4401 East 46th Ave dispensary location!

Our dispensaries offer curated selections of affordable, high-quality products and brands for our recreational and medical clients. We were voted, "Best Dispensary for a New Cannabis User" in 2022 and, "Best Dispensary for a Hash Head" in 2023 by Best of Westword. Budtenders with EPC sales experience are encouraged to apply!

Job Specifications:

• Responsible for helping customers, checking them out, cash handling and customer service.
• Knowledge and consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Building Better Days LLC.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, electronic mail, and scales.
• Ability to work effectively with employees, management, customers, other governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
• Ability to perform basic math, i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weight measurements.
• Understanding of cannabis products and use.
• Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for helping customers in the retail locations in accordance with Building Better Days LLC's mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
• Responsible for retail product knowledge so as to assist customers in making the right choices.
• Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as customer service, including:
• Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
• Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Use of METRC for medical patient verification
• Correct cash handling
• Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
• Accurate counting of inventory
• Accurate POS invoicing
• Use of counterfeit detection equipment
• Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)
• Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
• Security measures and safety compliance
• Store organization and cleanliness
• Managing the visitor log
• Verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers
• Report employee issues or customer situations
• Follow and implement COVID SOP precautions as directed in COVID SOP.
• Provide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations, including: daily activities, maintenance, as well as patient information for any reported issues and/or customer complaints.
• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following Building Better Days LLC's established policies for sales and customer service.
• Responsible for punctuality and attendance as assigned on the retail shift schedule is a must. Building Better Days LLC is unable to accommodate frequent tardiness and/or absences in the retail shift schedule
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

• Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Valid state-issued Marijuana Enforcement Division occupational license required.
• Responsioble Vendor Training certification required within 90 days of initial employment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• Punctuality and attendance is of utmost importance as this is a retail operation. Customers must be tended to in a timely manner. Adherence to the retail shift schedule is mandatory.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds (50 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
