Full Job Description
Christ Lutheran Church seeks to hire an Morning and Afternoon Aide for our early childcare center, Building Blocks Early Learning Center. We are looking for someone who reflects a Christian attitude in work and daily lifestyle. We seek someone to work 4 hours in the morning or 5 hours in the afternoon, Monday-Friday. This person is responsible for supervising toddler and preschool-aged children in the morning or afternoon setting.
Qualifications
- Complete training and licensing requirements, which include Abusive Head Trauma training, Child Development training, Pediatric CPR and First Aid training, and Orientation training including background check and fingerprinting, prior to the start date
- At least 18 years of age
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Morning Aide
- Maintains a safe, educational, loving, and emotionally healthy environment for the children
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Building Blocks Early Learning Center
- Develop and implement activity plans for each afternoon
- Supervise children
- Set up snacks
- Toileting and Diapering
Afternoon Aide
- Maintains a safe, educational, loving, and emotionally healthy environment for the children
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Building Blocks Early Learning Center
- Develop and implement activity plans for each afternoon
- Supervise children
- Set up snacks
- Maintain a record of daily check-out times of students
- Closing duties
