Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming daycare environment.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Skills in behavior management to effectively guide children's interactions.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare settings will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
