Building Blocks Learning Center is searching for a committed teacher to join our one year old classroom team.
This position would be Monday - Friday from 9:00 am-6:00 pm.
Teachers collaborate and work together to make each day great for our learning ones.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and be willing to take multiple training classes upon hire.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Support the lead teacher in creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
- Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toileting.
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior, and communicate with parents or guardians as needed.
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children.
