Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing quality care and education to preschool-aged children while engaging with parents and guardians to support their child's growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Provide attentive care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect among students.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Facilitate group activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and communication among students.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and child development principles.
- Knowledge of standardized testing practices for early learners is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with students and families.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required.
