JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Resource Navigator focuses on supporting early childhood programs in navigating the resources available within Indiana’s State childcare system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Consumer and Family Sciences, Adult Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
· Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an early childhood setting, a CCRR agency, or an agency providing community support services

- Ability to drive and have an insurable driving record.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

- Presents a professional image in appearance and speech, and capable of representing Building Blocks in a variety of interactions with service recipients, professionals, and the public.
- Willing to work flexible shifts and hours within the week, including weekends.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
· Facilitate program access to education, training, and technical assistance for Quality of early childhood care and education and family support; Business operations and resources; Community resources and support and Coaching and TA provided by the State’s Contractor.
· Facilitate networks for family child care educator. As facilitators, the CCR&R program staff will use a strength and relationship-based approach to connect educators with State funded and community partners to increase quality of family child care (FCC) programs, increase capacity in FCC programs, and improve business practices.
· Increase connections and partnerships between FCC educators and community resources.
· Design processes to recruit new early childhood programs into communities to increase access to care and education.
· Provide support, awareness, and training on how to utilize the State’s Learning Management System to programs.
· Build positive and goal-oriented relationships between early childhood professionals, families, children and the community.
