Building Brighter Futures Learning Academy is looking for childcare teachers to join our team!
This is a full-time and part-time positions, required to work at least 4 days during the week.
Job Summary:
The Childcare Provider works in partnership with the Director, Assistant Director, and Master Teacher. We provide a quality of care that meets or exceeds professional standards for development and learning. The Childcare Teacher is responsible for implementing a lesson plan for each child in accordance with the goals and objectives of the program. The Childcare Teacher works with the Master Teacher to ensure that each child is meeting his or her own individual development through the use of age-appropriate activities. The Childcare Teacher also works with the Director and to review each child’s daily schedule and ensure that all children are in their designated timeslot, toileting and cleaning duties are completed, and the classroom is clean. The Childcare Teacher must communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress, and work with their child when behavioral issues arise. The Childcare Teacher must be able to maintain professional standards while being supervised by a Lead Director. Certifications:
High school diploma required, CDA degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children preferred
- Knowledge of child development, childcare, early childhood education, and or education preferred
- OSBI Background Check
- CPR/First Aid and Safe Sleep Registry with CECPD
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with parents, children, and fellow staff members
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work alone or within a team
