We are looking to fill multiple, full-time, school aide positions. Must have availability 8 : 30 am- 2 : 30pm. There are evening sessions available too if more hours are wanted.

The Paraprofessional is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and / or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and / or supervising designee.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitates teacher directed learning activities including lesson plans, worksheets, reinforcement systems, small groups, social games, and work assistance.
- Follows through with student's individualized IEP goals including, and managing behavioral deficits and excesses, one on one or as a general classroom support.
- A classroom support consists of working with multiple students at once.
- Facilitates teacher directed learning activities including behavioral goals, using reinforcement systems, social skills groups, and transitional services.
- Assists teacher with classroom duties including making stimuli, making copies, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, preparing materials, and data collection on goals.

Building Connections Behavioral Health, Inc. was founded in April of 2013 and is head quartered in Walnut Creek, CA. We focus on increasing independence for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). We currently provide services across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We provide the following services : - In home and clinic provided ABA services for individuals age 0 to 22 years. - Early Intervention services for individuals age 12 to 36 months. - Diagnostic, Developmental, and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA). - School based services including 1 : 1 RBTs, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavioral Supports, Staff Trainings and In-Services - Parent, Family, and Caregiver Training and Education. - Classes and Training for individuals of all ages. - Social Skills Groups for clients age 3 to 21 years.
