About the Role
BIG is seeking a self-driven, ambitious, and talented Account Manager (Salesperson) with a proven track record in sales within the architectural signage and graphics industry. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, extensive interior and exterior signage knowledge, and a passion for delivering top-tier solutions.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities and managing multiple signage proposal requests from an established client base. You must be able to sell, oversee, and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. An insatiable drive to perform at the highest level is essential, and design experience within the signage industry is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while leveraging existing connections to grow business.
- Identify and close new business opportunities within the signage industry, ensuring solutions align with client budgets and timelines.
- Accurately estimate production costs and installation time, ensuring projects align with financial goals, budget constraints, and target profit margins.
- Lead and manage the entire project life cycle, from initial sale through production, installation, and follow-up.
- Work cross-functionally with project managers, designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Create detailed project drawings and proposals in collaboration with the team.
- Provide expert guidance on signage solutions, materials, and installation processes while ensuring compliance with ADA and architectural signage requirements.
- Maintain clear and continuous communication with all stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Consistently deliver exceptional, responsive customer service.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Exhibit professional and proven sales experience within the architectural signage industry.
- Strong understanding of signage production, installation, and project management; prior experience in signage production is a plus.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are highly preferred.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, multitasking ability, and a commitment to excellence.
- Must be able to integrate into and collaborate with a professional team to drive successful project outcomes.
