Building Kidz in Mesa is NOW HIRING for a fantastic 4-5-Year-Old Pre-K Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily curriculums with enthusiasm, creativity, and energy.
- Plan and execute exciting activities and games that make learning feel FUN!
- Sparkle and shine as you introduce our students to letters, numbers, colors, and shapes through songs, stories, and performing arts.
- Dive into the world of make-believe and imagination, where anything is possible and dreams come to life.
- Partner with parents to share daily and keep them in the loop on their child's daily adventures.
- Keep our classroom clean and safe.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; or at least 1 year experience in a childcare setting working with 3-4 year olds.
- Experience working with preschool/pre-k-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Creativity, patience, and lots of excitement for teaching.
- Superhero-like energy levels and the ability to keep up with our little adventurers.
- CPR and First Aid Certification, and a Food Handlers Card or a willingness to get them.
- A love for learning and a commitment to making every day as memorable as can be!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed primarily in the center environment.
- able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for up to 95% of the day.
- Assume posture at low levels, stoop, sit on floor and bend down numerous times per day
- Agility to move from seated to standing position quickly to respond to children.
- Perform all activities with children for prolonged periods, such as dancing, jumping, running, and walking
- Can perform all duties both indoors and outdoors
- Possess acceptable hearing and vision capabilities to monitor the well-being of children.
