What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Delivery Driver position at Building Material Distributors, Inc.?
Qualifications:
- Current and valid IA driver's license and a safe driving record
- Be at least 21 yrs old
- Pass a DOT physical and non-DOT drug test
- Perform heavy physical demands, lifting 50lbs. frequently
- Have demonstrated positive and professional customer facing experience
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience safely operating a 26’ straight truck (preferred)
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse or similar type of industry safely moving and lifting heavy products using dollies and/or straps (preferred)
- Experience reading bills of lading and other delivery paperwork (preferred)
