Job Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in our marketing team providing specialized support to ensure the smooth operation of sales activities. This individual will work closely with sales representatives, customer service.
Key Intra-Company Contacts:
Customer Service, Operations Managers, Purchasing and Samples Staff, Warehouse Manager, Account Managers, Product Managers, and Regional Sales Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reports weekly backorders and special reports to assigned vendors
- CRM Management: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Order Processing: Process sales orders promptly and accurately, liaising with relevant departments to ensure timely fulfillment for assigned vendors.
- Maintains and updates cost/pricing changes for assigned vendors in the ERP system.
- Configures Item Masters for Samples/Displays/Merchandising
- Special tasks relative to assigned vendors.
- Coordinates display updates for assigned vendors.
- Processes Vendor factory order purchase orders.
- Other sales support tasks related to assigned vendors.
- Maintains accurate data in CRM for vendor accounts.
- This role requires full-time, in-person attendance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Sales Support role preferably in the manufacturing and distribution industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with a CRM (Salesforce, Insightly, etc.)
- Excellent written and communication skills
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
