$50.00 To 75.00 (USD) Annually

The 32BJ Training Fund is seeking qualified candidates for part-time Spanish-speaking CPR/AED and First Aid instructors for classes taught in Boston and surrounding cities in Massachusetts.

Who we’re looking for:
- Creative, dynamic teachers with good interpersonal skills who enjoy working in diverse linguistic and cultural settings.
- Teachers who are looking to empower workers through industry skills education.
- Plan and implement lesson plans that are aligned to the program curriculum and incorporate the provided educational materials.
- Teach course content using a student-centered teaching approach.
- Maintain and submit records of attendance.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor.
- Participate in relevant professional development activities, as available.
- Willingness and ability to travel independently throughout Massachusetts, including to locations not accessible by public transportation.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Spanish fluency required.
- Flexible schedule - willing to work weekends and weekday evenings.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inte ract with students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to use digital platforms to instruct, communicate, and record program data.
- Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption from the organization.
- Compliance with current COVID-19 protocols of the organization
- Saturdays, starting in January.
- Other days may be available.
- Boston, or any of the eight locations in the Boston area.
- $75 per teaching hour
- Paid preparation time
- Paid in-house training, coaching, and professional development opportunities (different pay rate)
- Some locations may qualify for paid travel time and travel expenses.
- Accrued sick time.
