Who we’re looking for:
$50.00 To 75.00 (USD) Annually

The 32BJ Training Fund is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Spanish-speaking OSHA 30-hour General Industry instructor for classes taught in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Who we’re looking for:
- Creative, dynamic teachers with good interpersonal skills who enjoy working in diverse linguistic and cultural settings
- Teachers looking to empower immigrant workers through citizenship/civics and English language education
- Plan and implement lesson plans that are aligned to the program curriculum and incorporate the educational materials provided to the instructor
- Maintain and submit records of attendance
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor
- Participate in relevant professional development activities, as available
- OSHA Trainer certification (511 and 501) required
- Bilingual required (Spanish & English)
- 2 years of related industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with students from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to use digital platforms to instruct, communicate, and record program data.
- Record of completed COVID-19 vaccine or confirmed medical/religious exemption from the organization.
- Compliance with current COVID-19 protocols of the organization
- Days and times to be determined
- Classes on additional days, times and locations may be available, including weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Various sites in the Boston metropolitan area
- $75 per teaching hour
- Paid preparation time
- Paid in-house training, coaching, and professional development opportunities ($50 per hour)
- Some locations may qualify for paid travel time and travel expenses.
