Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring that all painting projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces, ensuring longevity and aesthetic appeal.
- Work on residential projects including interior and exterior painting, as well as renovations.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects that may involve plastering or other surface preparations.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting is preferred.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with carpentry work is advantageous for renovation projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
