Salary: $130,000 to $215,000 Annual Salary.

Summary:
In this role, you will report to the Sales Manager and engage in business development responsibilities by targeting and developing new revenue opportunities. In addition, your day to day will involve cultivating new client relationships and building a prospect pipeline to drive new business growth. Additionally, your responsibilities will include identifying and assisting in the cultivation of Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Supervises: None
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Management for existing customer base.
- All aspects of the pursuit, sale and engineering of your projects.
- Provide high-level budget support for prospective clients.
- Develop bid strategies including risk management through the bid review and analysis to determine the appropriate mark-up on projects.
- Optimize teams and assignments for plumbing and mechanical.
- Supervise full-cycle project management.
- Maintain records and up-to-date information.
- Increase revenue and profits for assigned region.
- Create and define business development strategies that grow market verticals..
- Convert a pipeline of prospective clients into revenue generating clients.
- Create, update, and constantly add prospective clients to a rolling prospect pipeline.
- Monitor market and competitor activities/trends.
- Develop strong consultative relationships with prospective clients to understand their business objectives/strategic imperatives.
- Host client shop tours.
- Manage employee performance.
- Assist in the career and personal development and mentorship of your team.
- Support the recruitment, hiring, training, managing, and retention of project managers.
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Sales Management or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of progressive experience in estimating, design and management of MEP projects from $5million to $25 million.
- 10 plus years of experience in estimating, designing and managing mechanical projects.
- 10 plus years of experience in successfully managing a team.
- 10 years of progressive experience in estimating, design and management of MEP projects from $50,000 to $25 million.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Computer proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proficient utilization and adaptation of management / accounting software.
- Able to demonstrate effective leadership and team building.
- Strong consultative and estimating skills, with a significant sense of ownership and accountability.
