Responsibilities:
We are looking for technician / mechanic who has a strong work ethic, who wants to work in a team culture and understands trust and respect. Candidates should have a positive attitude. The technician we are looking for must seek out solutions through effective troubleshooting to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our business.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix equipment owned by BZI.
- Continuously build experience as an equipment mechanic.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest equipment inspections.
- Work to troubleshoot equipment concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work closely with the logistics department and effectively communicate equipment concerns.
- Work together with equipment users to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications:
This position requires travel.
- Positive attitude and a desire to work in a team environment.
- 3 years of experience as an equipment technician/mechanic preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of equipment
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Ability to begin work at 5:30 a.m.
- Ability to work Saturday’s.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on equipment lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the equipment’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions equipment
- Efficiently navigate a computer.
