Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various kitchen equipment in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance repair, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring that all kitchen equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units and cooking appliances.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to assemble and disassemble equipment as needed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Operate a box truck for transportation of tools and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the kitchen equipment or appliance repair industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with schematics and ability to assemble/disassemble complex equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.
- Looking for installs aswell for LCB ovens and other bigger equipment.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
