BUILT is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager of Facilities Maintenance who will take care of those fixes and upkeep our facility. This person will be responsible to help manage our facility and be responsible for various routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Cleaning common areas, maintaining equipment, and supervising the grounds
- Administrative: Assisting with record-keeping, and inventory management
- Customer service: Providing information, responding to customer requests, and resolving conflicts
- Safety: Maintaining health and safety standards, fire prevention, and security, parking lot safety
- Event management: Setting up and taking down for events, and managing reservations
- Emergency response: Serving as the first responder for emergencies
- Communication: Composing correspondence, including emails, and reports
- Building: Creating and maintaining building systems, sheetrock, paint, fabrication, electrical, mechanical,
- Procurement: Preparing bid requests, working with contractors on projects and getting quotes for upcoming projects
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of technical sales principles related to maintenance services.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with high voltage systems is preferred; knowledge of low voltage systems is essential.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
