What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Account Manager position at BUILT Systems?
POSITION SUMMARY: Develop long-term, co-creative relationships with new and existing external representation and dealer/distributor network. Develop and increase sales revenue and profitability through external network sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, manage, implement, and execute sales plans.
- Visit and form relationships with new and existing external sales representation and dealers.
- Prepare customer quotes and hold inside sales to specified quote timing.
- Discuss projects with customers and with internal staff. Communicate with internal team, as appropriate.
- Gather and communicate the details of each order, including all specifications and tolerances.
- Provide appropriate sales reporting.
- Conduct market research.
- Participate in conceptual design and creation of marketing materials.
- Provide and develop on-site training program for new and existing partners.
- May shuttle parts to and from customers or suppliers or within plant.
- Collaborate with project managers to keep jobs on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or other business-related discipline.
- Three to five years of sales experience. Manufacturing and Automation experience with industry contacts is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have very strong interpersonal and customer skills.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Must be self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Must be comfortable in establishing new contacts.
- Must be a team player.
- Valid pertaining state driver’s license required.
- 60% travel required.
