Location: Power Up Arena Edutainment Center, Paramus NJ.
Pay: $16-$17/hour
Hours: 16-40 hours per week

About Us:
Power Up Arena is a 17,000 sq. ft. edutainment center dedicated to providing engaging STEM enrichment experiences for children and young adults. Our facility features a variety of interactive play stations designed to foster a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while ensuring that learning is fun! We also host field trips, events, and birthday parties, making every visit a memorable one.

Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Team Members to join our team! If you have a passion for fun activities, as well as STEM education, and enjoy working with children, this role is perfect for you. As a team member, you will be responsible for engaging with our guests, facilitating activities at our interactive stations, hosting events and promoting our programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the facility, providing an overview of available activities and programs.

• Assist in the setup and execution of field trips, events, and birthday parties, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

• Facilitate interactive play sessions at various stations, guiding participants through activities and encouraging exploration and learning.

• Explain STEM concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner to enhance the learning experience for children and young adults.

• Promote Power Up Arena’s programs, memberships, and special events to guests, contributing to overall sales goals.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within the facility, including regular checks of play stations and equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages learning through play.

• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to improve skills and stay updated on new programs and activities.

• Provide feedback on guest experiences and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is required.

• Major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire children and young adults.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• Enthusiasm for STEM education and a desire to share that passion with others.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.88 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
