Position
The Payroll Manager will be responsible for US and Canada bi-weekly payroll process and will be the first line of contact regarding all payroll related questions. Reviews and approves the effectiveness and compliance of payroll audit controls. Manages and implements HR/Payroll related projects to support current and future business needs of the company. Provides business support to various areas within the organization. Responsible for overseeing the HR/Payroll System maintenance, development, administration, and security. Ensure state and federal payroll compliance, all annual regulatory filings and reports are timely submitted with a high level of accuracy.
Job responsibilities
- Process day-to-day preparation, review, and submission of bi-weekly payroll for US and Canada employees
- Calculate and manage the payment of monthly sales commission
- Manage processing of payroll items such as terminations, taxes, garnishments, benefits, and other deductions
- Stay informed of all federal, state, and local payroll law changes to keep up with regulations for compliance, and advise management team on needed actions
- Produce accrual and liability reports for monthly and year-end closings
- Prepare and file all regulatory and required reporting for all state and federal compliance requirements
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation for 401k and Payroll on a regular basis
- Collaborate with LVMH Shared Services to ensure payroll changes are documented and processed in a timely manner, balance and handle out of sequence payrolls as needed, review disability file and process payments, etc.
- Partner with internal Finance team regarding all payroll related requests, invoices, fundings, and reporting.
- Audit W2 reports at year end and Form 1095-C for US employees
- Conduct periodic payroll audits
- Participate in various ad-hoc and routine projects and requests as needed.
Profile
Profile
- 5-7 years hands on HR and Payroll experience using payroll software: ADP PCPW, ADP Enterprise ETime, Ultimate software, Ceridian tax
- Experience working with a retail population preferred
- International and Domestic Payroll experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Customer service focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of payroll taxation laws
- Excellent excel skills a must
- Experience implementing payroll and time & attendance systems
- US work authorization required
Software Skills
- Ultipro - preferred
- Ceridian Tax Services
- Technical knowledge of Enterprise E-time Time & Attendance or Kronos system required
- ADP PCPW – Canada preferred
- Proficient in Excel

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000-$122,000 annually.
