The Role
Are you hardworking, reliable, and looking for an opportunity to become part of a new and dynamic team? We are seeking a reliable and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our busy office and workshop in Pasadena, Texas.
Principle Duties
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations
- Ensure the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for staff, visitors and vendors.
- Monitoring and staying up to date on safety regulations, codes and standards applicable to the industry.
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near-miss events to determine root causes and implementing corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organisations, such as government bodies, safety organisations and insurance companies.
Core Skills/Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- A minimum 2-years’ experience in an onsite-safety compliance role
- Iso Tank Experience desirable
- Familiar with compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
