BCTG’s direct client is looking for an SAP S4 PP/QM consultant to assist with a new development.The expectation is 3 days onsite/2 days remote per week, if the resource is not local to Houston the expectation is week onsite/week offsite (client ill reimburse for travel).
- Good understanding of Discrete Manufacturing, Repetitive Manufacturing, Process Industry processes in in the Manufacturing processes, production confirmation and receiving the products against. Production Orders, Process Orders; and REM orders
- Working experience with production versions, quota arrangement and Production scheduling profile configuration, Rework order types configuration.
- Working experience of various manufacturing orders production confirmation such as, CO11n, COR6n and MFBF.
- Working experience with Process control and instructions in PI industry.
- Good understanding of various inventory movements in IM and EWM such as QI stock to Un restricted stock or Scrap storage location or Rework storage location.
- Good understanding of Handling unit functionality with production receipts.
- Working experience with third party software applications that interface to SAP Manufacturing application components in S4 HANA (e.g., MES systems), PlanetTogether or similar tools/applications
- Good hands on and Configuration experience with QM maser data such as Master Inspection Characteristic, Material specification, material classification, Batch Class, Batch Characteristics, Inspection plans, Inspection Methods, Sampling plans & Methods, Inspection plans, Quality info records.
- Good hands on and Configuration experience with Inspection types, inspection process such as: In coming inspection for procured items, In Process Inspection during production, Inspection for GR in production.
- Good hands on and Configuration experience with Results recording, for an inspection lot against MICs or Inspection points, defects recording, UD & Quality notifications
- Experience with and an understanding of the SAP PPQM modules integration points with the Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial and Controlling (FICO) and Project System (PS) modules
- Strong understanding of application support principles and practices with a focus on customer service
- Able to work on support tickets related to PPQM
- Current hands-on configuration experience with SAP version, primarily S4, secondary SAP ECC 6.0, Enhancement Pack 8 or greater; SAP S/4 HANA experience is a plus
- Experience integrating SAP with other enterprise applications
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Able to work independently and self-sufficient
- Experience with Data conversion and cutover activities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, science, engineering or related discipline and/or 10 years equivalent work experience
- 7 or more years of hands-on SAP configuration and implementation experience
- 2 or more experience working on S4HANA in Manufacturing execution processes with Batch management, Handling unit and inventory movements in IM and EWM is a big plus.
- Quality Management LIMS Systems (e.g., Sample Manager, Lab works, Thermofisher) are a major plus
- Working knowledge on tools like, SharePoint, ServiceNow, JIRA, Zephyr
