Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for precision metal components and assemblies. This role is essential in supporting high-tolerance machining, welding, and metal fabrication operations for aerospace and defense applications . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in large-scale metal manufacturing, process improvement, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Development & Optimization - Design and refine manufacturing processes for metal fabrication, machining, and welding to meet stringent industry tolerances.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with design, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to enhance production efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement - Lead process improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction, efficiency, and quality enhancements.
- Equipment & Tooling Oversight - Select, implement, and maintain machinery, tools, and fixtures for fabrication and machining operations.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving - Diagnose and resolve manufacturing challenges, including welding defects, machining inconsistencies, and equipment malfunctions.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance - Ensure adherence to industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements for aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) - Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analyses to support product development.
- Training & Mentorship - Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians in advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Process Documentation - Maintain detailed work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
- Supplier & Vendor Coordination - Source high-quality materials and components to support production requirements.
